heart emits a magnetic field 60 times more powerful than that of the brain, as shown by magnetocardiography. This incredible electromagnetic force, the strongest in our body, prompts an intriguing question: Should we follow our heart or our mind? When faced with emotional pain, we often instinctively turn inward, shielding our hearts and relying on the mind's protective mechanisms. This retreat becomes a default way of living, shaping our identity and manifesting what the yogic tradition calls samskara—deep-seated patterns that lead to suffering.
As a seasoned sound healer, I've learned that genuine healing and transformation arise when we cultivate self-observation, self-awareness, and mindfulness across our emotional, mental, and physical energy realms. After a sound healing session, there’s a special window of opportunity when our defenses are lowered, and we are more open to vulnerability. It's during this crucial time that we can deepen our self-awareness and integrate meaningful insights. However, if these revelations aren't actively explored—whether through conversation, emotional exploration, or energy alignment—during this dynamic phase of transformation, their potential for lasting impact might be reduced.
